“Together Forward” is a special communication project, aiming at building solid positive image of Postbank among the wider audience, its clients and employees, on the occasion of the merger with Piraeus Bank Bulgaria – an exceptional and the most important deal for the banking sector in the country, completed in a record-short term. Attracting substantial media interest, we managed to create an outstanding and impressive campaign, which showed that Postbank had grown a bigger and better bank.
Mergers are constantly in the focus of public attention, the campaigns communicating them are quite similar, and people expect to simply get “informed of the next deal”. To us, the good image communication will make a positive impact and change not only the attitude and relationship with the brand, but the consumer behavior as well. Acquisitions bring business benefits, but create fear of and resistance to change. In this case the change was for the better. It was the way that will lead us to new opportunities.
We made people feel the emotion associated with the bank’s growth with the help of the world-famous influencer Dimitar Karanikolov and his exceptional perspective to well-known places. We created an unexpected campaign, quite different from anything done in the field of banking communications.
Postbank was in top 3 according to market share in the major product categories, it gained worldwide recognition for excellent customer satisfaction, and in 2020 became the “Bank of the Year”.
