Mars – Corporate Leader on the Rise
Mars is the fourth planet from the Sun – this was almost the only answer one would give to the question “Do you know what Mars is?”. Now, the situation is different and one of the top answers would be – the company, producing Snickers and M&M’s. This was achieved thanks to the great partnership in Bulgaria of M3 Communications Group, Inc. and one of the largest food producers in the world Mars, Inc., whose portfolio includes iconic brands such as the above-mentioned Snickers and M&M’s, Twix, Maltesers, Skittles, Orbit, Whiskas, Pedigree and more.
Our team developed an overall communications strategy to actively promote Mars not only as a company, producing some of the most beloved global brands, but also as a corporate citizen, strongly focused on doing meaningful business and making its operations sustainable. With a series of activities and professional approach, M3 Communications managed to tell the story of Mars in an attractive way and engage various stakeholders with it. Starting from almost zero, the coverage about the company in the Bulgaria media increased to hundreds of publications. In addition, many of Mars’s global projects were adapted to the local specifics and successfully executed. The food producer was established as a responsible company with strong corporate culture and values and some of its managers became key opinion leaders on a number of topics – not only about food industry, but also HR, sustainable development, CSR, etc.
