Mood for Food Festival Plovdiv 2019
Are you familiar with the unbeatable smell of a juicy burger, the taste of freshly made tacos or the unforgettable look of the rolling hot dogs on a hot grill? Actually food is more than just a meal. It is something you experience with all senses. All of this is Mood for Food Street Festival’s main philosophy – food for all senses. In partnership with Plovdiv European Capital of Culture 2019, we organized for second consecutive year the biggest street food festival located at the heart of Plovdiv.
If you had not come to Plovdiv it is time to plan a visit. Well, of course, after we start to return to the new normality. In Plovdiv you should try the unique local cuisine – a mixture of Bulgarian-Rhodope, Greek, Turkish, Armenian and Roma tradition. Our goal was namely to present this blend of traditions that makes the city a favorite place for culinary tourism. To these traditions we added the getting-modern street food chefs who had prepared special menus for the festival.
Mood for Food brought in one place a huge multicultural food variety so that we can all unite over the delicious taste of freshly baked Italian pizza, tasty American hot dogs, exotic Turkish dishes and, of course, lots of breathtaking Bulgarian, Roman and Armenian food. Three days, tons of delicious tastes and thousands of people, here is how we did it in one of the most multicultural places in Europe – Plovdiv – where during the centuries the unique tastes of different cultures meet up in one single plate.
