Biologique Recherche campaign with influencers and clients
During Covid-19 pandemic the cosmetic industry, which previously enjoyed sustaining growth, faced unexpected challenge – beauty salons closed; people limited expenses for beauty treatments and products to a minimum. Every forecast pointed to a large expected loss in yearly revenue for the beauty industry and expected to shrink for the first time over a decade.
However, MSL Sofia helped Biologique Recherche to stable its business in Bulgaria. MSL Sofia influencer and media power created an influence and impact campaign for the brand and its clients. Biologique Recherche is a French luxury cosmetic company with high-end products and offers personalized consultancy and treatments for women and men. Our campaign had to support the brand’s positioning in the beauty market and stay relevant to customers. Campaign had in two waves. The first was in the spring-summer during the quarantine to stay close to the customers and show empathy. The second was in the fall-winter to level up the communication to strengthen brand’s image as a high-class luxury professional cosmetics and expert in personalized skin care.
We achieved excellent results in SM media via influencer and editorial endorsement and high interest and engagement from audience. Our communication KPIs were 87 online publications with potential 260,000 media impressions, which we overachieved with 160%. This helped Biologique Recherche to raise up its profits during a pandemic times and uncertain financial incomes.
