Hanning Kempe

is the CEO of FleishmanHillard in Germany. Before joining the global network agency, he was CEO Germany / Switzerland at Grayling. He also founded Opcon Communication – a management consultancy for communications and served as Vice President Corporate Communications at ABB Ltd. He started his professional career as spokesperson to the Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU), the German Ministry of Defence and the UNOSOM II mission in Somalia.

With over 25 years in the communications industry, Hanning is a sought-after advisor for topics such as dialogue management, corporate strategy, corporate communications, as well as change, crisis and issues management.

Hanning is a German and Swiss citizen. He holds a MSc. in political science from the Free University of Berlin.
