National information campaign to fight varicose veins “Take your legs in you hands proactively”
Servier has long been a leader in the field of cardiology and aims to secure a place of prominence in the area of immune-inflammatory diseases. They have been committed to therapeutic progress to serve patient needs with the help of healthcare professionals and strive to transmit to future generations a world that can ensure access to quality healthcare for all.
As part of its mission to help develop healthcare the campaign “Take your legs in your hands” emerged (in Bulgarian this is a “word play” – meaning an appeal to undertake a “hands on” approach to the benefit of your legs. The phrase became viral and like an idiom for the campaign). It is a national campaign that informs the public about chronic venous disease. The condition is affecting an increasing proportion of young people and middle-aged people, especially in the pandemic, when movement is declining. In 2021, the #TravelWithAMission initiative was born, which challenged many people to return to an active lifestyle and received a positive response nationwide.
