Bulgarian Red Cross – Do It for the Ones You Love

Love makes the world go round. It is the driving force that provokes people to go to great lengths and do unbelievable things for those they love. This simple life truth is what inspired the team of M3 Communications and became the key tagline of a full-scale information campaign the company organized for the Bulgarian Red Cross in 2021 in the context of the global pandemic.

The past years have put us all in an unprecedented situation in the face of the global COVID-19 pandemic. In these challenging times the whole world turned upside down due to the common threat – the pandemic. Numerous fake news on the topic emerged, oceans of misinformation flooded the digital sphere and audiences simply denying the measures and the so called “new normal” appeared.

In this context, M3 Communications developed a multi-layered campaign strategy with a great cause – to highlight the importance of following the anti-pandemic measures, fight fake news and resonate to the public on a more personal and emotional level – after all, we are all in this together. The PR campaign was realized in several months during which various creative tactics were applied to reach out to the target audience, focusing greatly on the digital presence as the most effective way to approach people. It was part of the Global Appeal of the International Federation of the National Societies of the Red Cross/Red Crescents, supported by USAID.
