Dеxcom Warriors Bulgaria Campaign for diabetes control

Dexcom Warrior Program is an influence marketing campaign that strives to promote advantages of innovative technologies for diabetes management. Dexcom Warriors is a healthcare program and all patients with diabetes are recognized as “Warriors.” To be a Dexcom Warrior means you never quit on what you want to accomplish, and never let anything stand in your way.

Dexcom has engaged the services of Interimage to help implement the program in Bulgaria through an influencer marketing and awareness campaign targeting key audience groups. The involvement of real patients with type 1 diabetes was essential to promote continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) systems as best measure of glucose control among both consumer and HCP (Healthcare Professionals) audiences. At its core, this effort focuses on people with diabetes that can live their lives in the best possible way—using CGM. Our strategic outreach was based around new clinical data related to CGM use that could be implement for feature stories in national and specialized media outlets. Our main aim was to promote not only Dexcom Warriors in Bulgaria but also the life-saving impact of CGM. Thus, we took a mix approach and brought it to life through interviews with diabetes patients and physicians. During launch in October, Dexcom had the opportunity to announce the product availability in Bulgaria, as well as introduce Bulgarian Dexcom Warriors selected for brand ambassadors.
