Monty Hagler

Founder & CEO, RLF Communications
Monty has a diverse communications background ranging from expertise in strategic planning to crisis management for public and privately held companies. Prior to founding RLF Communications in 2007, he served as a managing partner at Trone, an integrated advertising and public relations agency and as president of Capstrat, a public affairs and public relations firm. He also worked as vice president for strategic communications at First Union Corporation. An active leader in the community and industry, Monty serves on the global board for Worldcom Public Relations Group, the world’s largest and oldest partnership of independent public relations agencies. Monty holds a B.A. in Communication Studies from UNC Chapel Hill and a M.A. degree in Communication from Temple University.
