Crossing the road safely with TEDI

Guided by the statistics that Bulgaria is among the leading countries in terms of children killed and injured in road accidents, Tymbark Bulgaria, in the face of the children’s brand TEDI, decided that it was important to get involved and help educate children and adults towards a more conscious presence as road users (pedestrians, passengers or cyclists).

In the form of a game, we are showing to the children the most common mistakes made on and around the roadway and together with them we’re finding the right and safe way to cross a road, etc.

As part of the initiative, an innovative multimedia lesson was created, which is available free of charge and year-round to all schools in the country at https://presicham-s.tedi.bg/

It presents the three roles of children as participants in road traffic – pedestrians, passengers and drivers (of bicycles, scooters, etc.). In this way, primary school students can learn important rules for proper behavior when crossing streets, when traveling in a car and when driving bicycles and scooters. The lesson also includes an online test to check and consolidate the acquired knowledge. All this is increasing the awareness and the attention on the road, not only of the children, but also of the society as a whole.
