Green Transition Forum

The Green Transition Forum is the premier event in Central and Eastern Europe dedicated to exploring the EU Green Deal, its implications, benefits and challenges. Held annually in Sofia, Bulgaria, it convenes policymakers, business leaders, academics, NGOs and innovators to address the challenges and opportunities of the European Green Deal and the global green agenda. Organized by Dir.bg (the largest internet portal in Bulgaria) and 3ENews (media outlet, specialized in environment, energy and economy), the forum has established itself as a catalyst for vital debates and actionable solutions to accelerate the region’s green transition.

The Green Transition Forum concept was created and developed by Dir.bg’s communication agency, Active Group. The agency is in charge of the event’s complete communication strategy, including strategic planning, content creation, execution and ongoing support before, during, and after the forum.

The fourth edition of the Green Transition Forum 4.0 took place on June 26-28, 2024.
