By 2035, with Units 7 and 8 at Kozloduy NPP in operation, Bulgaria is to become the first country in Europe to operate the world’s most advanced AP1000® technology and setting the gold standard for regional energy security.

Building on the communication foundation laid in 2024, Westinghouse continued its partnership with M3 Communications Group, Inc. to execute a sophisticated PR strategy in Bulgaria throughout 2025. Navigating a complex geopolitical climate, local political instability and the inherent complexity of nuclear energy, our strategy focused on humanizing the narrative. We transformed technical data into messages of national pride and safety, fostering trust among KOLs and the general public.
