On February 11, the PR community in Bulgaria gave a symbolic start to 2026 with the traditional event "PR Recharge", which took place at Re Club, Sofia. The initiative once again brought together representatives of the Bulgarian Public Relations Association(BPRА) and the Bulgarian Association of PR Agencies (BAPRA), as well as communication experts from across the country.
The event became a natural platform for guild colleagues to meet, exchange ideas and start new partnerships. The evening created a strong positive charge and high expectations for the coming year.
During the event, the chairmen of BPRA and BAPRA – Gergana Ivanova and Iva Grigorova, presented the key initiatives and priorities for 2026. The community’s aspiration to attract and inspire young communication professionals was clearly stated. Special emphasis was placed on the anniversaries of the two organizations – the 30th anniversary of BPRA and the 25th anniversary of BAPRA, which will be marked with a series of initiatives aimed at the development and strengthening of the communication profession in Bulgaria.
"25 years of BAPRA are a clear sign of the maturity and development of the PR industry in Bulgaria. Today, agencies are strategic partners of business - with a role in building trust, managing reputation and navigating a complex public environment."
Our hosting of the ICCO European Forum puts Bulgarian PR at the center of the European professional conversation, and initiatives like Young Lions Bulgaria – PR are an investment in the next generation of communicators. Our mission as an association is to advance the profession through ethics, innovation and a strong united community.”, shared Iva Grigorova, Chairwoman of BAPRA, in her welcome to the guild.
"2026 will be an emblematic year for the BPRA. The oldest communication association is turning 30, and this will be an occasion for the voice of the community to be heard even louder. We have prepared a very strong program that will celebrate the professionalism and power of communications. Uniting the different communication communities will also be a very important focus of our activities, as we believe that in times of division, the path to success lies through unity and joint action."Gergana Ivanova, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the BPRA, told the guests.
The traditional PR-style lucky draws brought smiles to the attendees and became an occasion for creative interpretations. The evening was further enriched with attractive gifts for the lucky winners in the traditional raffle, thanks to UniCredit Bulbank, Nova TV, New Bulgarian University and Champmindset.
