“NOVA Opportunity for You” fund
Nova Broadcasting Group and its subsidiary Netinfo have made an important and timely move to support Bulgarian business in the tough economic situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. In May 2020, they set up the “NOVA Opportunity for You” fund worth BGN 1 million to help the small and medium-sized business in Bulgaria. The fund gave 100 Bulgarian companies the chance to promote their activities to a wide audience by broadcasting an advertising campaign, financed by the Fund, on TV air and the digital assets that are part of the portfolio of the multi-platform media & tech company. Entrepreneurs who suffered the hardest blow in the global pandemic and had never had any financial possibilities to afford TV advertising received incentive and hope. The reaction was immediate and extremely positive – both coming from SMEs (Small and medium-sized enterprises), and from the media market, partners, and institutions. The innovative and quick approach used to support Bulgarian business in its efforts to overcome the pandemic aftermath once again demonstrated the social commitment and corporate responsibility that Nova Broadcasting Group has always been distinguished with. The “NOVA Opportunity for You” initiative is a bright example of the power of the hand lent on time and the confidence that any crisis can open new roads to success. The campaign was exceptionally successful, winning the recognition and respect of Bulgarian SMEs.
