FICAC CEE Meeting – High-class Client, High-end Event
To organize a press event is a common practice in the field of public relations. To execute a 3-day event with over 100 high-ranking diplomats from all around the world – this is what we, at M3 Communications Group, Inc., call a challenge.
In June 2019, the team of M3 Communications put all its event management expertise into the organization of the 3rd FICAC CEE Meeting – the first global consuls’ meeting held in Bulgaria. Over 100 diplomats from different countries gathered in Sofia for a 3-day high-level event to share experience and good practices and discuss the role of diplomacy in improving business climate in the CEE region.
The event program was quite intense including press conference, meetings with the Bulgarian government, Gala dinner with Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva, sightseeing activities, and trips, etc. with the culmination of the forum being a global conference of the World Federation of Consuls (FICAC) for Central and Eastern Europe with honorary guest speaker Rosen Zhelyazkov, Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications.
Overall, the event was a great success both in terms of attendance, and in drawing public and governmental attention to the key role of Honorary Consuls in today’s reality for the improvement of international and business relations.
