“Energy for Life”
“Energy for Life” is a Corporate Social Responsibility Program of TPP ContourGlobal Maritsa East 3 (CGME3) aimed at the local communities in the regions of Galabovo and Stara Zagora where the power plant is operating. The program envisages projects specifically tailored to meet the needs of local people and dedicated to improvement of healthcare, quality education and child care, sustainable urban environment and decreasing of social inequalities. “Energy for Life” program is carried out in close cooperation with the municipal authorities in Galabovo and Stara Zagora and with the partnership of non-governmental organisations, universities, local schools and kindergartens, hospitals, social and cultural institutions. Over the past 10 years CGME3 has allocated over BGN 5 million (~EUR 2,5 million) for the benefit of local communities.
