Yettel: Digitalization of the National Movement “Discover Bulgaria – 100 National Tourist Sites
Yettel Bulgaria is a telecommunications company, part of the PPF Group, which connects over 3 million users with people, technology, and businesses. In 2023, Yettel implemented a large-scale project to digitize the emblematic initiative of the Bulgarian Tourist Union – the National Movement “Discover Bulgaria – 100 National Tourist Sites”. It allows participants to collect stamps in special paper passports from the country’s most attractive and famous tourist destinations as evidence of their visits. Thanks to the digitization project the national movement now has a digital format, turning it into an exciting adventure through time, thanks to technology capabilities. The innovative project was implemented in Yettel’s mobile application, providing tens of thousands of fans of the initiative with digital stamps from the sites, equivalent to those collected on paper. Access to all services is entirely free, with the telecom becoming the first operator in Bulgaria to open its mobile application to all users in the country.
