Publicis Internal AI Competition 2024
In 2024, Publicis Groupe Bulgaria launched an innovative internal AI competition to integrate AI into creative and business processes. The initiative aimed to foster creativity, collaboration, and innovation among 190 employees from 9 agencies, spanning three generations (Gen X, Y, Z). Teams were challenged to create children’s storybooks using AI tools, with proceeds supporting the “For Our Children” Foundation. The main challenge was ensuring team cohesion under the “Power of One” model while dynamically embracing AI. The strategic approach included upskilling employees, fostering AI competencies, and prioritizing high-impact projects. The competition culminated in a special event for Children’s Day, with books printed by Konica Minolta and supported by Disney and Ozone. The results were impressive: 85% of creative employees adopted AI tools, boosting productivity by 40% and reducing campaign development time by 30%, positioning Publicis Groupe Bulgaria as a leader in innovative communication solutions.
