Yettel’s RECYCLER

“What did you do with your old smartphone?” Many people would say they’ve tucked it away in a drawer. Or they may have simply thrown it away with the rest of their trash. But what many don’t realize is that old devices are valuable resources that can be recycled into new products.

“Yettel’s RECYCLER” is an educational campaign that raises awareness on the topic of recycling electronic devices and how this action supports the development of the circular economy here in Bulgaria. The focus of the campaign is an interactive installation designed to resemble a huge drawer that combines interesting facts, art compositions of old devices, and a multimedia projection dedicated to the topic of e-waste.

In 2024, the campaign toured the two largest cities in Bulgaria – Sofia and Plovdiv, where it met thousands of people and collected over 1.5 tonnes of e-waste Following the success of last year’s edition, in 2025 the installation will continue its educational tour and visit even more cities in the country.
