HONOR Magic8 Launch
Most PR agencies might panic if a professional athlete skated over their client’s flagship product with a sharp metal blade. At M3 Communications Group, Inc., we made it the opening act.
In January 2026, our team transformed an ice rink in Sofia into a high-octane arena for the launch of the HONOR Magic8 Series. Moving away from traditional hotel room presentations, the agency designed a “Life-Proof” experience that challenged the limits of technology. The event showcased the Magic8 Lite, the King of Durability, and the Magic8 Pro, the Master of Night Photography, through a series of extreme, never-before-seen demonstrations in Bulgaria.
The project utilized a unique venue – a fully branded ice rink – to host dramatic figure skating performances where phones were thrown onto the ice, frozen in solid blocks, and even used as tools to drive nails. This interactive spectacle engaged Tier1 media and influencers, resulting in high media coverage with a massive 30M monthly reach. By merging extreme sports, culinary performance, and technical testing, M3 Communications successfully positioned HONOR as a top-3 tech brand in Bulgaria by Share of Voice, proving that the Magic8 Series doesn’t just survive the elements – it thrives in them.
