Just Another Figure is a digital-first campaign by Invisible Animals that exposes the hidden reality of industrial animal farming. When AI-generated “action figure” images flooded social media, the campaign used the same visual language to reveal how calves raised in individual cages are treated as objects — packaged, standardized, and stripped of individuality.

By turning a real calf into “just another figure” in the feed, the campaign hijacked a playful trend to deliver an uncomfortable truth. What looked familiar at first glance became disturbing on second look, transforming entertainment into awareness and awareness into action.

The result was a powerful, low-impact intervention that made an invisible issue visible — using the internet’s own clichés.
