Christmas means family time and that includes pets: 3 in 4 pet owners explicitly say they celebrate Christmas with their pets, 80% of dog parents buy a Christmas present for their dog, and so do 69% of cat parents for their cats.
Provoked by these statistics and overwhelmed with holiday spirit, in December 2021 the team of M3 Communications Group, Inc. executed an inspiring influencer marketing campaign for its long-term client Mars Inc. The campaign was called #ShareTheLoveThisHolidays and consisted of a series of influencer collaborations and giveaways.
The main objective of the campaign was to emphasize that Christmas is all about family & shared moments and pets deserve to be part of this, to be treated with love during this time of year and to receive sweet gifts. The campaign was aimed both at pet and cat owners, and was a creative way to inspire pet owners treat their dogs and cats specially at Christmas via gifting them the premium, gourmet products of Mars, Inc. from the brands Pedigree and Sheba, this way raising emotional sales during the holidays.
